WorldAPP 360 boast a selection of features built specifically to enhance 360 degree surveying:
- Must answer and Conditional must answer questions: survey authors can mark certain questions as such that require a response from participant or that require a response based on the previous responses by this participant. For example, if a participant gave some subject (employee being rated) a poor rating a comment next to this questions can be made mandatory.
- Popup comment box plug-in: when a respondent clicks on a multiline comment box, a popup box can be displayed with a larger area for comments.
- Average rating calculation plug-in: this plug-in allows calculating an average rating and displaying it in survey given to a certain subject or to all subjects across the survey.
- Ratings distribution plug-in: this plug-in allows showing the participant a current rating distribution across the survey.
- General Section questions: questions that are not iterated for subjects (employees being rated). The General Section question will only appear once in the survey regardless of how many subjects it has.
- Survey delegation: a participant can delegate a survey to some other contact from the Contact Manager to take the survey on behalf of this participant.
- Survey Metadata: survey can have any number of so-called metadata fields associated with it. Metadata information will be displayed to participant in the participant portal.
- Alerts to survey owner when the last participant has submitted the survey or when the survey is about to expire: survey administrator can choose to send an email message to him when either last participant has submitted the survey, or one day prior to the survey expiration date.
- Survey auto-save: the survey is automatically saved every two minutes.
Survey Views
To further improve data collection process, survey creator can apply one of the following views to 360 degree survey:
- Matrix View - all survey subjects and questions are displayed in a Matrix: subject (employees being rated) are displayed as rows, questions are displayed as columns. Matrix can have a fixed header so that questions when the contents of the matrix is scrolled so that the question texts always remain visible.
- One-per page view - each subject is displayed on a separate page. In this view a participant can easily move to the subject he wants to rate by selecting a subject name from the dropdown box.
- All on the same page - all of the subjects are displayed on the same page one below another.
Additionally survey authors are given the opportunity to format the name of the subject, group or sort subjects based on the Contact Manager information. In the Matrix View, participants can change grouping and sorting of subjects when taking the survey. Also survey authors can allow their respondent to select subjects they want to rate before they actually start taking the survey.
