feedback survey solutions for every business need

Contact Management

Contact manager is probably the most important feature of WorldAPP 360. All other 360 degree feedback survey specific features and functionality rely on the functions provided by the contact manager.

Contact Manager simultaneously serves as an address book, user database or data storage. It delivers the ability to store all of the information about the surveys' subjects (employees being rated) and participants (employees responding to the surveys). The contact manager is customized to have as many fields as user may need. These fields can be designed to store data of various types, including but not limited to strings (text), numeric values(numbers), dates, emails, currency amounts.

All of the contact manager records are stored completely in memory, ensuring lightning fast performance irrelevant to the number of records stored in it, be it 1000 or 100000.

Additionally, contact manager provides the following administative and management features:

  • sort the records in it on any of the fields as well as on multiple fields at once
  • instant search functionality

A user is also welcome to name format that will be used for contacts across the tool. For example, if you have First Name and Last Name stored in the separate Contact Manager fields, but you want the names to appear in surveys and reports as "[Last Name], [First Name]", you can easily do that.

Contact Manager Views

To further enhance administrative experience, you can create content manager views or filters that can be named, stored and shared with other users of the application. Views are usually applied to filter contacts who, for example, work in a certain department or location. The contacts in the View are dynamically updated if the Contact Manager is changed.

Views allow to create complex filters on as many fields as user may want, and complex logical expressions with AND, OR and NOT logic in them.

A special type of filter - the Org Chart filter is also available for Views. This type of filter allows to select direct and indirect subordinates of a contact. To be able to use this functionality user should just have an Contact ID field in the contact manager and the Manager ID, and based on the Contact ID - Manager ID relationship an Org Chart filter can be created.

Users can also create Nested Views, for example if the top-level View selects all contacts in a certain location, lower level Views can hold the contacts for various departments in this location, without having the user to include the location part of the filter into such lower-level views.

Updating contacts in the Contact Manager

A Contact Manager has a powerful mechanism for contact synchronization that allows you to synchronize your contact information with an external data source - either a delimited file or LDAP directory. The synchronization can be setup to run automatically on a daily, weekly, monthly basis at a given time.
